finished reading 'Strangers on a Train'! okay that was a few days ago but with everything going on I didn't get to draw until now lol.
this is done using white pencil on black paper.. 'cause when reading the book, the image I get is all black and white (and trying hard to imagine non-blond Nino!Bruno with Sho!Guy xDD)...
seriously.
book!bruno whined a little too much sometimes, not as bad as emo!harrypotter but ^^;
still, emo psychotic obsessive/depressive intense whiny mama boy?
Nino would nail it perfectly!
he'd even make bruno more likable 'cause we know how charming our little monster can be <3
After watching the first 15 minutes of Alfred Hitchcock's adaptation.. I decided not to continue with it for now because the image of Bruno from that actor is too strong/overpowering!
It's awesome and captivating (hey it's hitchcock) but I had a hard time substituting Nino as Bruno xD.. maybe I'll continue a year later or something lol.
One more day, one more day until July; I can get my normal internet speed back.
So will catch up with neighborhood and dl Arashi shows then!

I like the 50s 60s noir feel, in general.
was listening to Kurahashi Yoeko's early stuff while painting, very suitable.
alas, Kurahashi Yoeko has retired, still so young!
Anyway, Nino!
They better release his butai onto DVD!!

Here's a quick one as an unintentional break from the "puppy-eyed" series..before you all get sick of it lol.
This one's using white pencil sketched onto the leftover paint background I had weeks ago. You never know those leftover-paint-background can always come in handy, as soon as I saw the butai promo clip (poster) I thought of using this; it's like this background has been quietly waiting for this image to materialize lol.
I like that noir feel poster a lot.
Anyway, this is still art-in-progress.
Have been rather busy lately, not just battling ants D:

strange! I can get online now!! but won't be holding my breath lols.

First one:
Season Ninochan! Experimental since I painted straight then added pen lines, I hardly paint this way; usually I sketch first then paint lols. But I like experimenting =)
2nd one:
Aibachan coming out of the backdoor facing all the fishie lols. I like that scene ^^
Again, this one is done just using paint/paint brush, no sketch lines at all lols.
3rd one:
Ohchan! I merely painted the background heh.
Will continue if I think of what else to add lols.
PS: Cait! will recommend you some arashi stuff when internet gets stable again.. sorry for the wait!!
