It was cold, windy, and raining on and off for 24 hours.
Then there was a ray of sunshine.
A FedEx van parked outside.
Then it rained again.
Raining inside.

The songs are so beautiful!
I love Season the first time round when it was played in the Nino+cat au cm.
and I love Everything even from the brief moments it was played in the cm.
Listening to both of them clearly now in full length, love them even more!

Moreover, how beautiful the PV is!
First viewing reminded me of a few Bump of Chicken's PVs.. the feel of a group of childhood best friends who grew up together (btw Bump of Chicken members are childhood best friends who grew up together lol)...

Back to Arashi, they've been more or less together for more than 10 years since juniors days.. aren't they also consider 'childhood friends who grew up together'?
Well, that's the feel that I got from watching the PV.
They're so natural and comfortable with each other, the five very different individuals as the most awesome cohesive group. Watching them singing facing each other in a circle with individual's movements so in synch.. watching them walking; viewing from the back, a group of brothers / childhood friends pursuing this path together.
Really brought me to tears lol.

Btw I'm liking their 'Step and Go' look more and more and more!

Yeah, was crazy for BUMP OF CHICKEN (especially the pure-hearted frontman/lyricist (he writes THE BEST lyrics!)/composer/writer/singer/guitarist/artist/game and manga otaku (he even wrote the whole soundtrack for the game "Song for Tales of the Abyss"! Nino-chan, let's aim for that xD) /philosopher/sennin-dork Fujiwara Motoo san xDD) for many MANY years until they kinda took a backseat and MatsuJun baited me into Arashi.

I still love them though and listen to their songs at least once every few days (his voice has got such uplifting yet calming and soothing effect it's amazing. Troubles seem to dissolve away and disappear when listening to Fujikun sings), alas Arashi's been taken most of my scarce free time!

But I'm kinda thankful that it usually takes them years to release an album (but they're SO WORTH the wait and their albums are classics and long lasting) so you don't have to feel bad not able catch up with them or worry about $ lol.
They don't have their own tv show (they have a radio show though =)), seldom appear on (indies rock) magazines unless it's around the time of their new releases (usually once in a blue moon xDD).
They play live every year during various rock festivals in the summer so seeing them is quite achievable ^^ and have their own live concerts (usually at smaller live houses, the biggest ones they've done were at Makuhari)
(and I'm sorry I've been deserting my old boc site... also researched and translated their bio if you don't know who they are...)

But wow talk about full circle..... I didn't know Jun-kun likes BUMP OF CHICKEN too!
Thanks to kikinini's messages I've been listening to Junstyle recently for the past few weeks...
'cause darling Jun-kun hasbeen playing BUMP OF CHICKEN songs!
And he even went to BUMP OF CHICKEN's live..!! *o*
So now I can proudly say that I share at least one common point with Jun-kun:
We're both big fans of BUMP OF CHICKEN and have been to their live concerts xDD
They play the BEST LIVE yo!!

Btw we shouldn't compare them with Arashi concerts as they're different genre... for starter, instead of holding uchiwas and waving penlights, BUMP fans pump their fists into the air (showing our BUMP OF CHICKEN wristbands xD).. and we also jump up and down during high tension songs and scream sing along LOL. I heard one story that during their home coming concert one section of the local school stadium hall collapsed 'cause of the fans' excited jumpings xD
I love both the atmosphere of Arashi concerts and BUMP OF CHICKEN concerts equally ^^

I'm sure they will be delighted to hear that you're a fan too!

More later, I need to research on tracey's SHO FEST.. I thought I was late so I fell asleep.. but I'm definitely late now hahahhah.

Anyway sorry for sp aming with the BUMP OF CHICKEN drawings/paintings here, I wanted to organize them into one post. They're only 30% of what I drawn/painted of them over the years :D

In any case, check out BUMP OF CHICKEN if you get a chance; they're the most down-to-earth, atsui and heart warming band ever! (no wonder Jun-kun likes them <3)

And if I have time (Bwahahahah xD) I'll write a more coherent entry and introduction and info about BUMP OF CHICKEN =) until then, just go listen to Jun-kun fanboying BUMP OF CHICKEN at Junstyle <3
