dude. those mini uchiwas are so dang cute!!
Also, I like the background settings for the files:
Riidaa = blue sea fishing rod + fish xD
Nino = yellow gamer!
Sho = red DJ!
Aiba = lush green forest and animals!
Jun = Purple DoS
aah to those lucky lucky fans, enjoy Arashi!
anyway, this is to satisfy my streetscape cravings and arashi..
extra bonus point for you if you could spot another reference besides "5x10" heh.
to be painted maybe.
HnA.. I knew she would pick riida from that initial impression heheh.
Just like that first VIP segment with Aibachan, no matter how well they did afterwards; that initial impression usually makes the final decision. Also similar case with the 2nd VIP segment. Just as expected perhaps :)
Next, gonna wait for VS Arashi.. Nino vs Chinen for Ohchan's love? ;D
not sure if this is the completed version or not.. I might change the clouds to rain drops or floating fishes lol.
Btw roflol at last night shudaikun!
The samurai-riida-panda-swanlake was beyond awesome xD
Catch up reply later!
First off, this is still in progress.. as soon as I saw the magazine scan of 3/5th of Arashi trying to "fold" Sho chan into a particular yoga position, I had to sketch it! That Shosus face is too awesome xD
(thanks kikinini san for the scan!)
Totally falling off chair laughing xD
I like the guest's impression of Arashi at the start, quite spot on and so funny!!
From then on was just non-stopped crack ups! And she's really REALLY excited with Aibachan xDD
But who could blame her? Aiba's condition was so fine that night <33
I would love to poke too ;D
aah I like the guest, she's awesome and funny and not one those annoying chicks lols.
I love the kime pose segment!
Nino's just so nerdy and strange with his "self-healing" bone-cracking pose (but oh so cute) xD
They're all so spectacular but Sho kun takes the cake!
It's so awesome that Jun immediately jumped straight to Sho and whacked him XDD how "passionate"!!
I love the email segment too!
Sasuga Master Cute Nino chan! I love the way he plays with the words delivery, it's so cute!! イイ~ <33333
But Aibachan! Whoa Aibachan!! How cute can this man be?! He's so shy and embarrassed when his email was being read out, covering his face like that, sooo cute! moe~ xD
I like how he put the subject heading there and continued with the scenario, so cute! I would melt with that too heh <3
Jun's email's full of confidence and straight to the point, very very Jun heheh!
Sho chan's had me rolling again XDD omg Shosus! Why do you fail so adorkably?!?! and I love his expressions through out~!
aaah Riida..... always going off to the sea fishing Riida..... xD his sounds like an invitation to a fellow fisherman? XDD
But I like his short and concise message, with "Ryoko!" as the subject heading, manly <3
The surprise skit segment was too awesome!
I really got a kick out of Jun's surprise! love it love it love it! Really made me into a flailing fangirl (usually I'm just a subtle fangirl ;D)...!! and I love that smug look on his face waaah!!
Ohchan's quite man, kinda reminds me of Yanno Kenta xDD My heart would totally jump out if that happens to me!
Aibachan's so sweet too~! I'll take it! I'll take it take it take it!! <33
aaah Nino.. Nino san~ so simple, effortless, and effective <3
He's the only one who didn't need to spend $ to surprise and please, it's very Mr Ninomiya xD
Nino's so sekushi too when he's speaking on the phone I must say ;D
Sho chan LOL!! zannen no otoko XD what if the person swallowed it?!?
Still that was a sweet gesture and ooh the kiss! <3
So yes, I was pretty much spazzing and flailing and rolling while watching HNA last night xD
Although I love and adore Arashi, I must admit spazzing and flailing and kicking and rolling like that doesn't happen too often! So that was a great exercise lol! Now am patiently waiting for MQ avi~ heheh.
Catch up and reply later!
why so... *_*
I'm hungry lols.
btw I love his young Tony LeungChiuWai hair <3
art in progress here..
I might paint it with acrylic..
at least go further with the pencil sketch...
I'm gonna make supper at 10:42pm..
not good to eat at this time but drawing that Nino is really making me hungry!
oh this reminds me of that Haruki Murakami's short story "the second bakery attack" (from "The Elephant Vanishes short stories collections).. so hungry!
I wonder what's the connection lols.
Speaking of which, "barn burning" (also from "The Elephant Vanishes") reminds me of Brunino (strangers on a train) planting the idea into Guy's mind... heh.
coincidence and connections and dopplegangers..
what a funny world.
Anyway. hungry. be back later catch up later!
EDIT:
It's 11:38pm, I am eating omelette+rice lols! gosh so hungry!
Seriously I make the best omelette (to my taste anyway) XD
after that I'm gonna have the strawberry sauce I made earlier.. with ice cream <3
EDIT2:
now I'm sleepy.. yabai xD
Nino plays psycho murderer ftww!
Super actor Nino chan ftwww!
Here's a quick one as an unintentional break from the "puppy-eyed" series..
This one's using white pencil sketched onto the leftover paint background I had weeks ago. You never know those leftover-paint-background can always come in handy, as soon as I saw the butai promo clip (poster) I thought of using this; it's like this background has been quietly waiting for this image to materialize lol.
I like that noir feel poster a lot.
Anyway, this is still art-in-progress.
Have been rather busy lately, not just battling ants D:
Thanks for all the messages, will reply next time!
Catch up with vox neighborhood another time!
Good night Good day Good weekend to all!
It started off as a random quick sketch I did a month ago using leftover paint (never like to waste a good paint).. and if you don't know by now, I like cats xD
1) random sketch paint, again, paint straight onto the canvas paper - whatever that comes into your mind.
2) In this case I revisited the painting a month later since I didn't want to waste it (could have left it though).. Anyway, when revisiting, I thought the cats're a bit off center to the left so I attempted to fix it by painting huge flowers on the right side (but didn't quite work lols).. see, it's all improvisation...
3) oh well, continue with painting and at the same time thinking of what colors to use to make it stands out.
4) Completed. My trick in this is pretty much highlight the contrasts and make it lively and colorful.
Btw for fellow fans of TDS and TCR: I call them the Stephen Colbert cat (left, looking feisty) and the Jon Stewart cat (right, thoughtful pose) =D
Next will have to post/draw/paint some arashi art.. it's been a long time!
aah blame my 24/7 work roster last week, I was a bit on edge xDD
PS: I still haven't watched the utaban, zaquizsho, door-to-door although I have downloaded them lols. impossible to catch up xD
I had to skip monday night class due to work so only went there for the first 5~10 minutes to find out what's in store..
The teacher's setting up still life objects (bottles, round objects, boxes, pots, flowers, etc) on the table and happy to let me go early after I completed rough sketches of some objects for painting (see pic#5 painting vs rough sketch). She then gave a very brief instruction of today's class for me to paint at home.
Finally I was able to get time to paint this just now, 3 hours. I took photos to show in progress. Btw the lighting is a bit orange there, I'll take another photo under the sunlight tomorrow *EDIT: photo taken under sunlight outdoor, you can see the colors more distinctly but the one under natural house light indoor is nice too, different feel heh.
1) "sketch" straight onto the canvas with paint, not with pencils. (me: you can take reference from your rough sketch of the objects and improvise).
2) sketch/paint in some background. (me: can be whatever in your mind.. improvise again)
3) start painting...
4) oh hey completed =D sorry I meant to take some photos in between but was "in the zone".. I guess it's basically do what you like while you paint, go with your own flow.
5) the small rough sketch of the objects I sketched in class vs the final painting. I ended up ditching the box and did a random tea pot, it's more interesting.
The coming monday night is the final session of this art class.
I haven't got much out of it and pretty much draw/paint in my own style but I guess it's still interesting to see how a basic class is taught and a style which is very much different from mine.
Anyway, catch up / reply more later! quite a bit busy this week...
But I did manage to dl Utaban and TQS episode#1 and 2 since I've got enough bandwidth left for last month afterall, was able to squeeze in! Now is to find extra time to watch them lols XD
