yygall! it's true! Yamaguchi Papa is in Cannes!
I did a double take when I saw his photo (promoting kung fu panda) in the trashy paper mX on my way home so I did some googling lols.
First johnnys attending Cannes? At least he's the first Johnnys appearing on our free trashy newspaper lols and the interesting thing is JE won't be able to stop these photos being published heheheh!

apparently there are many promo shots but most of the news sites seem to feature the one with Yamaguchi lols.. a Johnny's definitely scene stealer huh? xD

Kimura and Shingo were in Cannes last year, promoting Hero and Saiyuuki respectively. =)

xD I have a slightly different opinion... even though the little obsessed fanboy is cute loving his idol so much I don't want to see him copying everything and even stealing this "special moment" from ohchan too it's getting creepy xDDDDD anyway, will still watch and test my limit lols.

oh I only picked it up when I'm desperate (ie no reading materials with me).. it's the same here, gossipy and complaints against connex (the melb counterpart of cityrail lols)...

oh I didn't know about this one until I saw the photo (captioned "yamaguchi tatsuya" too!!) on our free local mebourne/sydney newspaper on the way home today lols. Apparently Yamaguchi papa 's the japanese voice actor of the main character in the film "Kung Fu Panda" so he's over at Cannes promoting the film. The other voice actors of other languages are also there but Yamaguchi (and John Black, the english version) stole the scene judging by the photo featured in those reports lols. If you google for "yamaguchi kung fu panda cannes" you will see a whole list of report heheh.

chinen will be forever known as the fanboy ne? I mean other johnnys have senpais they admire.. but its entertaining nethertheless!

connex? Apparently Melbourne's transport system is flawless because they have trams. xD Maybe they just add vintage charm.

my trains delayed/cancelled/overcrowded/have problems daily.. some days more severe than others.. just two days ago it took me 2.5 hours to get home (instead of 1.5 hours XDD) because the driver couldn't get the door close and gotta get all the passengers out and drove off... we all waited for the next train and of course couldn't squeeze in due to the our problem train held up and cancelled many subsequent trains and hence the next train made peak hours shinjuku looks spacious.. waited for two more trains before we could get in.... aah.. ... or sick/collapsed/fainting passengers causing the whole network of trains to delayed ('cause the whole train had to wait for the ambulance to arrive before it can move due to unmanned station).. delays and cancellations making more overcrowded issues which in turns making more passengers fainting/having a fit on the train...

TRAM?! it has their own categories of problems alkdjfklaj! non-peak hours might be OKAY... but peak hours??!!? *laughs til I cry* xDDDDD

i saw that on the train too today. don't usually pick up mX but it was abandoned on the seat i took and i had a shortish train ride anyway. lols cosmos was in force for us today =P (the stalker msgs really creep me out ><)

Chinen going against Nakai... i really feel that Taka-san is pushing this - after all, Chinen is as sweet and respectful as Ohno, and definitely wouldn't go up against Nakai by himself in emulation of Ohno. it wouldn't be an exact imitation of Ohno anyway... Chinen deadpanning? lols can't imagine it. i only can imagine him piping up in that high boyish voice of his =P *chirp chirp*

lols you've experienced Sydney transport - it's pretty bad too! but i must say that sounds like a red letter day for Melbourne transport D= my biggest complaint with cityrail (or shittyrail as my friend calls it XD) is the amount of trash left behind coz people know that someone will clean it up or coz there's no bins on stations anymore. and trackwork on weekends. gahhh i hate trackwork on weekends when i have to work and have to wake up even earlier to catch a bus ><

i remember the time that a train broke down on the bridge and trains were delayed for hours and hours... in the end they managed to get some buses but man some people (like one of my friends) were supremely pissed off.

Being the next city over-- you kind of get a murky vision of things. They don't talk about Melbourne in the newspapers or whatever, its all local news! For me, everyone I ask, the impression is trams. ^^;

Today, my bus stalled three times right in the middle of the road. XD

sableheart: strangely enough I saw a BIN on the platform today, but it was being guarded by a cityrail staff member lol. I still remember our last conversation.. remember when you used to go out on the weekends and not stress about transport??

those days are long gone T.T

i have to check every weekend now coz it'll be just my luck to not check and then get trackwork on my line *rushes off to check*

was the bin at Lidcombe? they have one bin on platform 4 that usually fills up pretty quickly ...

oh dear. and i was planning an expedition to kogarah for tomorrow... *sigh*

i love the reason for taking away all the bin, though. someone might throw a bomb in the bin. yeah, and thus encourage people to trash the trains. great logic, cityrail.

i love melbourne's free city circle tram. then again, i'm asian, i love all useful free stuff. xD

they do have bins at the smaller stations--

but I saw this one at CENTRAL, a big wheelie bin with a sign:- please dispose of your rubbish.

hey if i can sleep in half an hour on saturdays/sundays i will... esp since my usual train would be at 6.10 or 6.40 am.

coz i read my newspaper that only for children *lol* that Jack Black went to Cannes but i don't know that Yamaguchi papa went to cannes. so great!!

I was about to ask the question about why Yamaguchi... I kept on searching on Kung Fu Panda but there is no Yamaguchi in the main cast... and now I know... hahaha X3
