Gackto VS Arashi! On 4th July! His birthday!

Don't ask me how old he's turning, we in twitter assuming his age has to be around 501 lol.
Have been tweeting about him non-stopped since yesterday, when I found out that he's gonna be in VS Arashi!! Lots of reminiscing!

I was in the Gackt fandom around 2000~2003!
I dropped out of the Gackt fandom when he got a bit too moon crazy + costly + the fangirls in general too scary/angsty D:
My first CD of Gackt: "Mizerable",  his first solo EP after leaving the band Malice Mizer.
"Mizerable" remains my all time favorite song of his!
So beautiful, so catchy, so awesome, so silly (the pv and gackto in general, despite being a super-talented-genius lol), and oh so dramatic on stage as always: the dance the gackto-heart-clutching-swaying dance <33

Joking aside, I truly love his creative talents, musical talents (composes/writes his own songs, multi-instrumentalist), and honey-deep voice! <- although sometimes too dramatic, like when he sang 12gatsu no love song.. in japanese, english, chinese, korean, martians... sorry sorry, I always can't help poke fun gackto's way 'cause that's how I show affection to him <3

Afterall, the dude himself is awesomely funny and has great unique sense of humour!
I used to catch Domoto Kyoudai because of Gackto just to hear his funny stories and commentaries, not Kinki Kids :D
oh and love his numerous Gundam impersonations (another fandom crashing since I heart old school Gundam lol)!
And who could forget his four-day-buta-curry making starting off with kaku-niku shopping? XD

aah funny Gackto ftw!  oh and for those who don't know, he was in taiga drama Fuurin Kazan two years ago.. his dramatic acting really suits the character, although he truly resembles manga/anime characters more than anything...


Enough ramblings, guess I'm just glad to see Gackto again, I truly miss the silly dude/alien-vampire <3
I might have to start buying your CD again for old time sake lol.

Guess we shall find out who wins in VS Arashi.. you or my current love Arashi <33

i'm already massively looking forward to vs arashi later today. (ah, today... i love saying that! XD) the 4 day curry really made me laugh...until I realisedI did the same thing not too long ago. XD

well...something close. i tweeted 4 days before making curry that i'd make curry, hung out around the door to the meat section (coz it was too cold inside) and waited for the meat man to come out with the good stuff. he knows me now, i think... ^^;

dunno why i'm still watching it, though. kimura's laugh is getting on my nerves, as is ayase's stupidity. and hiro hasn't got enough lines to qualify him as a "supporting actor", which is a bit of a letdown... but the guest cast is great. nakama yukie, sato takeru, gackt, that santamaria guy...

Gosh! I remember that 4-days curry story! I was also high on Gackt before and wanted to see him with Arashi interact. Finally, it has come and they are amazing together haha.

Today's MS was a blast! Arashi, Fukuyama, Gackt are crazy-noisy together. Our boys have so much fun on MS chatting and listening to the stories by the other artistes, very attentive and laughing a lot.

Yay! I didn' know there're so many Gackt fans and ex-Gackt fans around here lols! I only saw the preview interview clip at kiiroinamida's vox.. where Fukuyama shook hands with our boys and Gackt's being silly trying to merge with the wall xD The whole MS show seems too big for me to dl.. wanna watch them being crazy-noisy together! Hopefully someone would cut some scenes and upload them onto yt etc.

i've always liked to watch Gackt on Utaban! he's definitely one of a kind...and his unusual humorous side always surprised me each time he chats with Nakai-kun. haha... oh, and the most recent ep with Gackt on Domoto kyodai where it kept showing clips of him falling asleep when their guests were talking? (hope you've watch it..) That was hilarious. Soon i realized he was actually very kind & witty, despite his very cool & vampirish-look. ; )

Yes absolutely! Have you watched today's vs arashi? He's very funny and often makes unexpected/unpredictable comments.. and you're right, he's actually very kind & witty! I find he's more smiley these days heh.
And yes I watched that recent ep with Gackt on DK! I like the answering questions segment a lot too (and Koichi kept doing Gackt's impersonations xD), insightful and hilarious =)

Koon! I love your Gackt drawing. Actually, I watched Moonchild when I was younger and it's so nice to hear you talk about Gackt. It made me remember my officemate who's around 21 years old now but absolutely loved Gackt when she was nineteen. We used to discuss Gackt immensely last year. Learned a lot about him and listened to his new songs as shared by my colleague. :)

Ooh I watched Moonchild (and liked Orenji no Taiyou) a few years ago but I ended up liking Hyde more than Gackt. I rmb my friend, who was a Gackt fan, telling me about no one knowing his age XD Gackt to me always gave off this mysterious, cool sort of image; I didn't know he's quite a funny guy! The curry story really made me laugh! I can't wait to watch the episode of VS he's on to see the interaction :)

oooh, i'm trying to hold out on VSA for a MQ version so that I can truly enjoy the interaction Gackt has with his partner & arashi (though as much as i really wanted to watch it asap)! >_<" hope i can sustain till monday...
anyway, that Gackt on DK was my fave ep this year... and oh yes, the "rabu" between Gackt & Koichi on DK was usually seen as one-sided (from Gackt) but i guess without true understanding between them, Koichi's impersonations wouldn't have been that hilarious & deep. ; ) Gackt's shy smiles always tickles me, somehow. What a contrast, ne? ^^

I missed him, it's his birthday, and he's with ARASHI <3 Heh I actually find Moonchild is my low point of Gackt.. he couldn't act! I meant his acting's too dramatic which I'm sure he's improved much since then.. still I still missed the talented, hard working, funny dude <3 Honestly I haven't heard much of his new songs since I dropped out of his fandom after Moonchild =D; but I reckon I'd pick up his latest singles - btw he's celebrating 10th anniversary of his solo career this year too!

Crew! Hahahah actually around Moonchild time I dropped out of his fandom xD and I don't blame you liking Hyde more as Hyde's definitel a better actor in that film at that stage, Gackt's acting was too dramatic! So I watched that film for lolz xD He's improved a lot though thank gosh!
Oh Gackt's actually a very funny person and has a very cold sense of humour Gackt-style! If you want to know a bit more about him, I found a quite recent episode of Domoto Kyoudai on ytb where Gackt's the guest there for the first time (he used to be a regular there contributing his funny stories and comments). It's interesting, insightful, and hilarious to watch:

The mq version is available on LJ comm, I'm dl it as we speak although I've seen the full episode on ytb (quite good quality) I hope you're able to watch it soon =)

I hardly watch DK post-Gackt-regular.. but even back then Koichi likes to do Gackt's impersonations :3 I gotta say that DK episode is gold! I mean, out of many of the shows Gackt's been too this year promoting his singles.. and of course, VS Arashi being another golden episode since.. it's Gackt.. in a game show.. with Arashi!! Epic <3

Oh yes! I forgot to mention Gackt's shy smile! The dude's full of contradictions and contrasts but it works like charm!
