Watched the Birthday Dude on VS Arashi~

Awesome episode! It's unbelievable, my old fandom vs my new fandom and both celebrating 10th anniversary this year <3

Also, went out with family to have dinner, had sticky date pudding with vanilla (gackto gackto!) ice-cream on top lol.

Happy Birthday dear Gackt-san again heh~

4th of July to me means: a happy Independence Day to my American friends, and happy birthday to various Japanese idols. ^_^ My LJ f-list is full of posts about Masuda's birthday from the NEWS fans, Jin's birthday from the KAT-TUN fans, and Gackt's birthday from the Gackt fans! I guess Gackt would be unique, being several hundred years old and all that... ;-)

I still can't listen to Vanilla without thinking of the live performance and giggling about it to myself. Gackt might be kind of...uh...unusual, but the man knows how to put on a show. I might have to check out that VS Arashi episode, just for the novelty!

How could I forget... 4th of July is Gacchan's b-day! Thanks for being born Gackt! Being your fan introduced me to the wonders of your music (jrock) and of course - mostly importantly fellow fans that came to be my friends!

Enjoyed the last few hours of the man's b-day watching him on VS Arashi! Despite not being dressed for physical activity and not knowing what the heck the program was going to be about, Gackt being Gackt he did great, especially on the last event.

....on a sidenote: he sure looks "meattier" than how I remember him. Definitely, those biceps did not exist during Mizerable ~ Moon period.

Mec!! hahah that 4th of July being the US's Independence Day is what that QotD aiming at.. but I took that chance and talked about Gackt and his birthday.. since it's valid too xDD wow I didn't know there are quite many others Japanese celebs also sharing the same birthday! Busy party day huh? =D But yeah, Gackt would be unique blowing the most candles on his cake then, assuming the dude eats cake xD

Vanilla is a funny song and even funnier on stage live performance LOL! Oh, Gackt's a funny dude! Have you seen Domoto Kyoudai when he was a regular? The dude's so weird but so dang funny (cold and dead pan humour gackt style).. go to my LJ link here.. wai! absolutely! Thanks for being born (and being awesome too) Gackt! Gackt's opened up a new world for us.. thanks to Gackt I got to bond with my dear cousin sister whom I never really got to know since migrated to aus.. and then of course yourself and sister; and many online friends! *hugs*

Nice to know you enjoyed Gackt's birthday with VS Arashi too! It's really surreal watching them together I must say, and Gackt's being so smiley and funny and clearly enjoyed himself there yay xD But yeah, the dude is good at everything! Did you see his movements during the goal keeping segment? He moves fast! Even Sho commented that!

And yes, he's definitely "meattier"! When he took off his jacket I went wow! Didn't quite match his feminine face but looks great! Now he can be like those hokuto no ken characters he likes xD

Btw I found a quite recent episode of Domoto Kyoudai on ytb where Gackt's the guest there for the first time. It's interesting, insightful, and hilarious to watch:
