On the previous day we saw this spunky sky cable while our speedy cruise pulled up at the Toronga Zoo and wanted to go ride that sky cable (yeah, zoo was secondary; our main aim was only to ride on that thing which is inside the zoo lols). So on this day, 2008-05-06 we bought the zoo express and went on to the cruise again heading to the sky cable, I mean the zoo.....
ALAS! The sky cable was unavailable from the ferri partform that day T_T
Oh well, so we went on foot visiting the zoo then.
It's a really spunky zoo with the best view in the world!
So I guess the animals are having a good life in this zoo albeit I always feel sorry for them cooped up in "big cages" whenever I visit zoo.
Anyway, the most exciting moments for me were seeing the tiger, lion, fishing cat...<- big cats fan xD
I wasn't able to take a good picture of the fishing cat since its movement's so quick and illusive!
Another excited moment was the RED PANDA <333 again, it's so hyper and moving so quickly I couldn't take a good picture of it... the red panda reminded me of Ohchan on stage, so cute and so quick *_*
The little pointy eared foxes were so cute too but I felt so sorry for them running around in the cage...
oh I liked the meercats too... um.. cats xD
and I liked the seal and penguins gliding and flying in the deep ohchan blue water~
After the zoo trip, the sky's gone cloudy again (in a nice sort of way) so we head back to circular quay looking for a fine fine restaurant, it was nearly 4pm then and we're starving by that stage (we skipped lunch since we're talking to the animals...)... we went to this italian/seafood kind of restaurant by the bay.. top notched food and the best coffee *_* Anyway, letting the photos do the talking again:
"luckily" we've already done most of the walkings of our trip by that time.
Next, Wendesday 2008-05-07, last day. We only had the morning for last minute exploration (or shopping for my hubby lols) so we took the monorail to the harbour park again and enjoyed breakfast (ham+mushroom+tomato omelette yum~) looking at the nice harbour view.. again, it's Ohchan sky Ohchan sea, so blue so beautiful so calm so sparkly <3
After that we took back the monorail and stopped at city center since we wanted to go to the strands, my hubby's managed to buy a pair of shoes there and when he's happy I'm happy =)
Also took a photo of the observation tower there since we had no time for that.. oh well next time.
Then we made our way to the airport, see you again, Sydney!

First photo: Himitsu-theme cookie from Stef! It was delicious! We're having a mini-arashi-kai with sablechan's Sho-phone playing arashi songs, at the presence of her pet tsukasa (that cute puppy soft toy) and my Nino-chan drawing lols. Let's meet up again in the future <3
Other photos above were taken on 20080505 at Circular Quay (harbour bridge, opera house etc), look at how sunny and spectacular the weather and scenery! Ohchan sky Ohchan sea!! So blue! Oh and that's the Sydney Harbour Bridge, we love that bridge! We went under the bridge, walked across the bridge, and also went to the lookout point to watch the bridge and take in the view. There're ppl climbing the bridge, definitely not a sport for our Sakurai Sho san...
Btw, managed to capture five (arashi) cruise boats speeding in front of the Opera House, like doing a Love Situation dance formation <3
Next, also taken on the same day, The Rock and delicious german bier and lunch!
Next day, to the Toronga Zoo <3 will update that another time, exhausted from work lols.

Had some free time today so I cramped everything in and now it's almost midnight again!

Anyway, finally got around to go for a haircut today and surprise surprise.. it's Nino haircut again!
But it's good though, save me from thinking of what haircut to have... and often what clothes to wear too.. since their taste in clothing are better and at least more "feminine" than mine.. xD <- I "failed" at being a female lols.
So how many of you are also following (intentionally or unintentionally) Arashi members' haircut/clothing/hat(or the sho-cap xD)/megane?

And I finally get to use it as the weather is freezing these days!

Nino-chan mentioned that there're some words in his Gimmick Game
recording that they've forgotten to erase out..... it's around D melody
but you need to have a headphone/earphone to hear it.
So. I've been trying to listen for it.
Maybe because I was listening to it on my compu (via headphone) so the quality was lower I don't know..
so I couldn't hear it.
The D melody parts are all overlapping by layers of sound and his
voice, so even if he's telling the truth wouldn't the words that he
spoke about got covered by all the sound? xD
Aaah I don't know..
Perhaps the tricky boy just wanted us to blast up the volume and listen to his Gimmick Game many many times!
I admit that it actually sounds GREAT listening via headphone with high volume though, all the amazing arrangement and Nino-chan's voice whispering/singing coming from left and right clearly lols.
We shall see if he'll reveal anything... just don't give us that sticky tape sign xDD
dalinee! I was listening to Flashback today in the rain! extra extra cozy, eventhough it's freezing out there! Definitely my favorite favorite in the album right now.. along with Gimmick Game 'cause I couldn't get that out of my head most of the time thanks to the wanpaku boy lols.

Ok here's a post re my ramblings on the album - not comparing with their other albums ('cause I love them all!) nor originality ('cause it's arashi.. it's like you'd support your little brothers no matter what they do (as long as it's legal xD)).. nor other JE groups... 'cause.. I only heard of one song from Smap ("Natsu", thanks to Nino-chan), a few songs from KK (all because of "zenbu dakishimete", courtesy of Nino-chan again lols), one song from V6, one song from K8, none from Tokio, none from KT (my friend's karaoke doesn't count..!), none from .. what's that group? the one that has yamap?, oh.. and one from HSJ 'cause it's impossible to not heard that one already since they hijacked their place into arashi's concert.. we're being forced fed! xD
So, long story short, here's just my preference/reaction to the Dream "A" live... into TWO categories in no particular order =) EDIT: I most likely need to create an in-between category lols, another time!
Category 1: Songs that I currently like a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot!!!!!1:
Gimmick Game - aah Nino-chan's done it again! I love it even more after the ohmiya love song + sho curry revelation <3 no, not biased!!
Hip Pop Boogie - best Sho song ever! more details later, brain not working currently one-two-one-two!
Happiness - I still love this song to bits! Brought back fond memories of hearing this live first time: happy tears all the way xDD
虹の彼方へ - very similar feel to Happiness, still smiling ^^
Flashback - love this to bits! It's my kind of laidback chilled out song~
Dive into the Future - Nice and cool and a bit jazzy, which I like. Chorus could be better I think.. nonetheless, I like it.. and the sentence "Dive into the Future" keeps reminding me of that Satoshi and Sho song "Oretach no song" xD maybe that's why I like it so much xD
声 - a very typical (yet beautiful) melody and ballad... but... so much love! I was in the mood of liking this song when first listening to this. love it.
Once Again - wow! no more words for now...
Take me faraway - WOW! definitely no more words for now.. Ohchan~!
Naked - best Jun song ever!! love the laid back chilled out sophisticated sekushi sound... the quiet drum'n'bass is smooth~ this song suits Jun's voice too!
Category 2: Songs that I currently like a lot :D
Theme song - hmmm full of fantasy wonders.. but I have to admit
my favorite bits start after 0:42 when it breaks into the arashi jazzy
disco funk xDD
Move your body - this song blew me away when they first leaked it.. I still like it a lot it's just that other songs overtaken its spot lol.
Life Goes On - more details later.. I like this a lot, it's playful (although some parts too loud xD)
Step n Go - yes, I still like this a lot! super Nino-chan yellow cape <33
Hello Goodbye - Very nice sort of folky-rock band feel but the melody is a bit too.. common? Still, I like it a lot! Aiba-san~!
シリウス - I like the first part a lot a lot, when Nino sang quietly.. but then the song production got louder and louder and louder..! If they cut down on the overproducing part.. this song will definitely in that first category =) (another reason I love "Flashback", 'cause it's straight after this song lols)
Do My Best - I like the upbeat melody and energy (would be AWESOME live).. but, on album.. too loud xD overproduced! xDD though, this would make a great opening song for an anime show or something, love the chorus!
YOUR SONG - same as "Do My Best", too loud xD (I guess that's why the title is in cap lols).. it's a nice song to keep singing at the end over and over and over again but.. a little bit less overproduced and better balance on the "all sing together now" voices would be nice.. don't wanna sound like they're all yelling on top of each other. I love their individual parts though!
My Answer - when Sho starts this with "Yeah-yeah! Hah-hah-ha-ha!".. I thought YATTAMAN is coming to town xD Nice song.. but yeah, some parts are a bit too loud (ie. over produced) lols.
So there you go, I like all songs! I would choose this over TIME too depends on mood of the day lols.. but then again, both albums have their strengths =)

N: Well, during that time, there was Shochan in front of me, eating his curry and sweating profusely, and ri-da- sitting next to me, doing his art, and I could, surprisingly write my lyrics under those conditions.

N: Well,as the lyrics says, there is this guy with dirty fingers (casts sideways glances at Captain)
O: you mean the stains of the resin?
N: This is Ohno-san's song.

But it does now, Nino-chan; it does now xD
aaah no wonder there's a bit of an indian feel to the song instrument/arrangement at the start xDD
So, "Gimmick Game" = Ohmiya + Sho curry... all the more reasons to love this amazing song lols!
Also, since Nino can write such amazing song and lyrics so quickly under such conditions.. we should so get him to write the entire Arashi album at various Arashi meetings (with the rest of the members input too of course).. that would be the best Arashi album ever <3
